Historique :	Portrait de Mgr Hyacinthe Libelli, archevêque d'Avignon de 1673 à sa mort en 1684. Ce prélat, natif de Citta di Castello en Ombrie, se forma à la Minerve à Rome. Il occupa des fonctions importantes comme provincial des Dominicains ; il fut préfet de la congrégation de la Propagande, secrétaire de l’Index, et maître du sacré Palais. Il fut profondément marqué par le climat artistique romain et fit édifier la chapelle de la Résurrection dans la métropole Notre-Dame des Doms pour en faire son lieu de sépulture.
