Description :	Vaste tapis rectangulaire constitué de carrés de canevas brodés au point de croix. Chaque carré comprend une rosace et deux bordures avec la fleur d'angle. Aux angles du tapis, sont les armoiries du Vigan, de Nîmes, d'Uzès et d'Alès. Au centre, sont les armoiries de Mgr Besson, évêque de Nîmes de 1875 à 1888. Le trait noir préparatoire est visible sur le secteur détérioré.
